About Me

Howdy! My name is Lauren. If you love to learn, we’ll get along just fine.

Teaching and learning about faith, style, design, art, family and friends are the passions you will find here at A Dash of Lauren.com.

Many people have told me I should start a blog to share scripture insights, style tricks, financial tips, ideal decor pairings and my obsession with entertainment mania! So I invite you to take a look around, and whether it be inexpensive, small renovations or restorations, quick and easy home decor, or seasonal parties to entertain, I hope you come back to get your dash of my declarations.

A Dash of Lauren is organized by SOUL because I believe your SOUL should be in everything that you do: Style, Organization, Unity, and Lord.

Here is a little background on each:

Style: If you are going to do something, make it pretty. From outfits, interior design, home renovations, hair and makeup, find it in this category.

Organization: If you are going to do someting, make sure it’s repeatable. Organize your life, finances and home. From MS Excel to that perfect pantry, look here.

Unity: If you are going to do something, don’t do it alone. Friends are gifts. New people are blank canvases of life. From throwing a mixer to a small group gathering, this section is for you.

Lord: If you are going to do something, do it according to the Lord’s will. In this area, you will find posts on marriage, parenting and devotionals. Yes, I believe in God and our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. To him I give all glory and honor and adoration. Without him, I am nothing. Although the Lord is not really mentioned in this blog except under this category, I hope that one day you will, if you haven’t already, come to know the love and joy you will find in Him.
